超级杂交稻五优308根系形态特征研究

对五优308在不同生育时期的根系形态特征及其与常规超级稻合美占的差异进行了分析。结果表明:除苗期外,五优308单株不定根数和总根长在各生育时期都比合美占具有明显优势,但单茎根系及单条不定根性状与合美占的差异不明显。五优308与合美占单株根数和总根长的差异主要是由于分蘖特性的差异所致。在超级稻育种中,可在选择适宜茎蘖数量的基础上,注重选择单茎根数较多和单条不定根长较长的品种。

Studies on Root Morphological Characteristics of Super Hybrid Rice Wuyou 308

The morphological characteristics of root system of Wuyou 308, a super hybrid rice combination, were studied at different growth stages from the seedling stage to maturity stage, with Hemeizhan, a super pure line rice variety, as the control, by a pot experiment. The results showed that Wuyou 308 had a significant superiority to Hemeizhan in the number of adventitious roots per plant and the total root length per plant at all growth stages after the seedling stage, but it was not much different from Hemeizhan in the root characters per stem and the traits per adventitious root. The difference in tillering ability was considered to result in the difference of root number and length per plant between Wuyou 308 and Hemeizhan. In super rice breeding, it might be an effective way to increase yield, on the basis of selection of sufficient tillers per plant, by selecting varieties with more roots per stem and longer adventitious roots.
