源自籼稻品种"谷梅2号"的抗稻瘟病主效基因Pi-25,对中国稻瘟菌菌系92-183(小种ZC15)有较强的叶瘟和穗瘟抗性。源自籼稻品种"地谷"的主效抗稻瘟病基因Pi-d3,对我国稻瘟病生理小种Zhong-10-8-14表现较高的抗稻瘟能力。经克隆鉴定,发现Pi25Pid3位于同一个基因位点。

【基因定位分析】

Pi-25 定位于水稻第6 染色体标记A7 和RG456 之间,图距分别是1.7cM 和1.5cM(吴建利等, 2004)。

【基因克隆与生物学功能分析】

Pid3 cDNA 全长2970 bp,含有2 个外显子,编码一个由923 氨基酸组成的蛋白产物,产物含有NBS-LRR结构域和MHD基序。Pid3Nip 在LRR结构域中,转录起始位点开始的第2208位核苷酸处,CAG被替换为TAG。

粳稻品种Pid3 假基因化是发生在籼粳分化以后的(Shang et al., 2009)。
